0 percent on purchases (credit card question)?

    April 18th, 2010

admittedly i dont know the first thing about a credit card. Most have an introductory offer of 0 percent on purchases for a few months. Does this mean you pay zero interest on what you owe but still make payments or you dont make any payments at all in that period.

Sorry if this is a stupid question !

Is there a credit card that doesn’t charge a fee for international transactions?

    April 15th, 2010

I am studying abroad in Arezzo, Italy from January-June 2009. I am looking for a new credit card that doesn’t charge international transaction fees or at least has a low, low rate. Also, if there is one that has a zero-percent balance transfer offer that would be great. Thanks for the assistance!

Advice about doing a balance transfer on a credit card?

    April 13th, 2010

Currently I have alot of debt. Most of it is at zero percent interest. However, I have a credit card currently at 0 but will go to 25% in about 4 months. I thought I could have it paid off by then but a few things came up and now i’m not sure. My question is will it hurt my credit score if I do a balance transfer to another card that will offer me 0 % for the first year. I know I can have it paid off in a year, probably 6 months. I have broke the habit of using the credit cards or accuring any debt for that matter. My goal is to be debt free in 9 months. Is this idea overal good(for me and my credit score?). Any feedback would be great. Thanks in advance
